About Aviar AI
We are a Austin, TX AI engineering firm partnering with forward-thinking enterprises. We don’t build toy demos or slide decks—we engineer fault-tolerant, battle-tested agent systems wired directly into your production databases and APIs.
How we got here
Alyster and Marcus lead Aviar AI. Before founding the company, they spent years as software engineers at Datadog, Confluent, PayPal, VMware, and Intel.
We started building AI agents when most enterprises were still writing AI policies, and joined Y Combinator with Aviar in 2025. 8 clients later, we know what breaks and what scales.
How we work
We're an AI native firm from the ground up. Every internal workflow at Aviar, including software engineering, code review, customer briefs, eval suites, and Slack, runs on agents we built ourselves.
We've been our own customer for three years, and we're model agnostic: Claude, OpenAI, or whatever is the best tool for the job. That's why every system we ship lands faster, with better defaults, than a firm just learning the toolset.

Our Principles
We build systems that live inside your production stack, complete with error recovery, edge-case routing, and real-time observability.
Models evolve weekly. We design systems that benchmark and switch dynamically between Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini without rewriting business logic.
Your data is your competitive edge. All agent workflows run within your VPC perimeter with zero training retention and rigorous access controls.
We measure success by hard numbers: hours saved, error rates slashed, and overhead reduced. We build only what pays for itself.
